Managing a Booking

Cleaning Plans for Customers

  • Our cleaning plans act in a similar way to a gym membership. If you commit to a minimum period, you will receive a discount. Please note that if you cancel your plan before the end of the minimum commitment, you will be subject to a cancellation fee. Note that if you sign up for a regular weekly or fortnightly clean, you are not locked into a plan and can cancel at any time.

Minimum Commitment

  • If you have chosen one of the Dash & Shine cleaning plans with a 10%, 15%, or 20% discount, these options have a minimum commitment of three cleans. If you cancel the service before your third clean has been rendered, you will be required to pay an amount equal to the discount you received.

Rescheduling Cleans

  • You can reschedule cleans up to 24 hours before the clean at no charge. If you make a cancellation within 24 hours of your clean, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50, part of which may be allocated to the Service Provider for loss of work.

Cancellations

  1. The Customer may cancel any booking on the Dash & Shine website no less than one business day or 24 hours prior (e.g., a Monday booking must be cancelled by 5:00 PM on the previous Friday) without penalty or charge.

  2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee, provided the cleaner has not yet commenced travel to the job location.

  3. If Service Providers arrive at a booking and are unable to perform the job due to reasons outside their control — including but not limited to lack of access, unavailable facilities, unsafe conditions, or failure by the Customer to provide timely notice that the service is cancelled or no longer required — the Customer will be charged a fee ranging from AUD $150 up to the full cost of the booking.

Fees, Payments, Refunds, and Guarantees

  1. Customers shall pay Dash & Shine the Job Fee for Jobs undertaken by Service Providers. Payment is charged the day after completion of the Job.

  2. Customers whose fees are overdue by 30+ days shall incur a 10% late payment fee. If unpaid after 90 days, additional debt collection fees may apply.

  3. Refunds or credits may be issued at Dash & Shine’s discretion if a Job cannot be satisfactorily completed. Refunds are processed within 5–15 business days from the date they are approved.

  4. Our bond back guarantee for Move In/Out Cleaning means we will work until you get your bond back. If any areas are missed and the property manager or agent responsible for the inspection does not accept the cleanliness, we promise to return and re-clean the necessary areas at no extra cost until the issue is resolved. This guarantee does not cover the bond amount itself or any deductions unrelated to cleaning. Dash & Shine is not financially liable for any portion of the bond withheld by landlords or property managers.
